NSU Wins 5th Consecutive MEAC Men's All-Sports Award

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State University won its fifth straight Talmadge Layman Hill Award, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference men’s all-sports trophy, the league announced Wednesday.
NSU is the first school to win five straight Talmadge Layman Hill Awards since Florida A&M won five in a row from 1991-95.
The Spartans tallied 63.5 points to win their sixth Talmadge Layman Hill Award overall, 13.5 points ahead of runner-up Delaware State. The Spartans first won the award in 2001.
