Tony Romo Fails To Qualify for US Open: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Tony-Romo-fails-to-qualify-for-the-U-S-Open?urn=nfl,162916
Proving that his golf career mirrors his football career, Romo fell apart late, triple-bogeying the 16th hole while carding a 44 on the back nine.
I enjoy taking my digs at the Cowboys, but in all seriousness, you have to tip your hat to an active NFL player that can shoot an 80 in a US Open golf qualifier.

Why? If I had a multi-million dollar contract and all I had to do from January to September was work out and attend a couple mini camps I'd be in the 60's. An active Joe Worker than can shoot an 80 in a US Open qualifier... now that gets my respect. xnodx

If said Joe Worker could also heave a pigskin 60 yards and hit a WR on the fingertips while evading 300 lb D-linemen, then yes, much respect.

Not sure why that skill set has anything to do with it. I'd like to see Romo amortize a mortgage like I can. Truth be told, the fact that he spends his time doing physical work and has a dozen full time trainers helping him with his body, strength, conditioning, diet, etc... furthers my point. xpeacex

I need a trainer to help me do my job. Keep me crisp as I do purchasing. I think sometimes I for get to stretch properly before I write purchase order. I am going to pull a hammy one day...

No way dude, I can do them in my head. I work out 4 hours a day with different loan amounts, percentage rates and terms. Go ahead, try me. Give me a loan amount, rate and term and I will do it in my head. :)

Why is Tony Romo trying to take the spotlight away from Brett Favre. xeyebrowx

What did Romo say he's retiring from golf? But then Tiger met with him?
