Friday night Lehigh tries to do what only two teams in history have accomplished, travel to Oklahoma and beat both OSU and OU in back to back matches. Friday night, the Mountain Hawks open at Gallagher Hall in Stillwater against the #1 Oklahoma State Cowboys. Lehigh is currently ranked #10, with 7 individuals ranked in the top 20. Features will be Lehigh's 165 lb. Troy Letters, now ranked #1 against #2 Johnny Hendricks, and #3 Cory Cooperman against the 'pokes Dave Fishkorn #4.
Saturday, Lehigh will travel to Norman to take on the Sooners, currently ranked #4. As former Lehigh coach Thad Turner used to say, "If you want to be a bullfighter, you have to fight some bulls." For LU to win both would be seismic. To split would raise eyebrows.
