SHSU Orange-White game Saturday at 11 a.m.

Sam Houston State will pit the offense against the defense in the Bearkats’ Orange-White football game that annually brings to a close spring gridiron practice.

Normally, head coach Todd Whitten and his staff split the squad into two equal teams for the competition but several injuries in key positions have forced a change in plans.

This will not be the best judge of what we can expect this year because of all the injuries and guys on the sidelines. A shame that the Kats got bit hard by the injury bug, but hopefully this means we'll have a healthy, hearty fall.
