Don't know. Don't care for this year, because he will only be a junior.
Big Sky title and National Championship FIRST, Payton and everything else, a distant second.
BUT, don't knock him 'til you see him, brother bear!

I would vote for him. Their WR Toon and RB (I forget his name) should be canidates too.

Thank you, Slostang. The RB is Trevyn Smith. Here are their 2008 numbers:
QB Cameron Higgins 4,460 yards passing (#1 in the FCS), 166.26 QB rating (#4), 36 TDs
Trevyn Smith 168 points (#1 in the FCS), 1,585 yards + 21 TDs rushing, 778 yards + 7 TDs receiving (28 total TDs, 2363 all-purpose yards)
Tim Toone 1,525 receiving yards (#1 in the FCS), 84 receptions, 7 TDs, 1,745 all-purpose yards
Cameron will be a junior in 2009. Trevyn and Tim will be seniors.

How many starters lost?
Wildcat losses from 2008 on offense were fullback Marcus Mailei, left tackle Paul Carpenter and guard Lawaia Naihe. All three were first team all-conference picks. Carpenter made third team TSN All-American, and Mailei made honorable mention.
BIG shoes to fill!

And don't forget that Mailei is a likely draft pick this weekend! xthumbsupx

I thought he should have been one of the three finalists last year, and I'm glad we play you guys in Missoula this year. xlolx
