Coyotes close in on spring game
Maybe the biggest news to come out of the spring football camp has to deal with next year’s schedule. A couple of weeks ago, the USD athletic department announced the team will host Drake University Sept. 19 at the DakotaDome.
“We’re excited about the addition of Drake,” USD athletic director Joel Nielsen said. “We had the opportunity to add another FCS (Football Championship Subdivision) to our schedule, and with Drake being from the Midwest, it was an added benefit.”
