There are conflicting reports. Coach McKillop says that he is still undecided, but DraftExpress.com reports that he is entering. Is Curry likely to enter?

He should stick around another year... so people will have a reason to come to one App game next season.

He should stay... he will go. He will not make any impact in the NBA.

I agree that he should stay, but I think he can have an impact in the NBA. He's got enough range to keep defenses honest. He won't be an all star, but he can be a good role player. Kind of like his dad.

He has Chris Paul skills IMO - I think he'd do well in the NBA.
Maybe this will give some other SoCon teams a chance if he goes. xrolleyesx

The big question is can he improve his draft status by staying an extra year? I don't know enough to know either way but figure his stock is pretty high now.

Its quite the toss up to say the least. He's accomplished about all that he can at Davidson and aside from Pistol Pete's scoring record, he can't help his stock much more unless he can orchestrate another Cinderella run in the NCAA's.
The problem I see with him going now is that he will likely sit the bench unless he falls into a perfect system (Dallas, Phoenix, Golden State) where he can run n' gun because thats where I see him as being most effective at the next level.
Everyone knows that he doesn't need the money so if he can put up with his teamates and their offensive shortcomings for another year then he should stay and enjoy the college life for another year, increase the SoCon's exposure and help build Davidson's program a little more.
Regardless of what he decides, he's been a thrill to watch over the last three years and he deserves everything that comes to him due to his tremendous work ethic and desire to excel at any level. Best of luck young fella!

You aren't serious are you? Chris Paul skills?
At best, he has J.J. Redick skills.... take that for what its worth.
He did MOST of his damage against sub-par teams, and that's not a shot at the SoCon... I mean you don't see me talking up JMU's basketball team, they suck too.
Chris Paul rocked the house against ACC teams and a plethora of other big name schools.

This is a very valid point. I think at this point, staying an extra year would not benefit him. He can't really put up much better scoring numbers. Unless Davidson decides to schedule more top tier games to give him a chance to show what he can do against the best competition, then yea, might as well try now.
Either way, I still don't think he is going to do very much. JMO

Curry might be a good fit for a team with a strong low post presence, like Orlando or Houston, or a team with a great one on one player who can create for others, like Cleveland or the Lakers. If he doesn't get into a situation like the two described above I think he will be in trouble in the NBA and he might be anyway.
I think he will be faced with many of the same problems JJ Redick faced upon entering into the league, and Redick was in the perfect situation for him offensively speaking. Redick MOL rode the bench until this year and is now only getting 15-18 min/game.

I don't agree with Chris Paul skills but he played well against good teams. First game to come to my mind is the ~40 points he scored against Oklahoma.

Lee scored 18 in the loss to the Sixers in the playoffs. Not bad for a debut. xnodx

As a season tix holder for the Magic I agree with you. Lee has done a GREAT job playing at the two spot and guarding the opponent's best wing player nightly for the Magic.
He has a few things he needs to work on (just like any rookie) but his upside is tremendous and he'll be even better next year. The Magic got a fine player with a low 20's pick in Lee.

He can enter the draft and still return to college. As long as he doesn't sign with an agent, he can test the waters and still come back. ISU has a Junior doing that exact thing, Osirus Eldridge. Nothing at all wrong with testing the water to see where you stand with NBA teams.

Eldridge was great in the MVC championship game. Tremendous player. xnodx

he had an even better game in the semis vs Creighton. His problem in the NBA will be size, at only 6-2 he's at a disadvantage. Lots of 6-6 guys in the league with the same skill set he has.
