Defense Ahead of Offense in Cal Poly Scrimmage
Cal Poly’s defense is well ahead of the offense.
That is what first-year Mustang head coach Tim Walsh learned during Saturday’s scrimmage at Alex G. Spanos Stadium. And that was to be expected. After all, the offense lost seven starters, including all the skill position starters except fullback, while the Mustang defense features eight veteran starters.
