Who'll be under center for Bears in fall?

If the University of Central Arkansas football team is going to finish atop the Southland Conference standings in 2009, the Bears will have to do that with a new signal caller.

This is probably the biggest question in the SLC - especially as it relates to the productivity level we can expect from the QB position. How much will UCA drop, if at all?

Each year is a new year, and it's anybody's guess how productive UCA's QB situation will be; but there was severe drop off when Robbie Park came into our game after Brown went down with concussion.

Granted, it's a much different animal preparing as a starter, versus being thrust into a game due to injury, but there was no comparison in physical ability. Not saying he won't be productive as the full-time starter, but my guess is UCA will be leaning on their defense a lot more in 2009.
