Offense Looks Strong in First SFA Scrimmage

SFA offense posts big numbers, big plays Friday morning

Big plays were the order of the day in the Lumberjacks’ first scrimmage as the offense picked up where it left off last season. Junior quarterback Jeremy Moses appeared to be in midseason form completing 19-of-24 (.792) passes for 367 yards and four touchdowns. All three SFA quarterbacks looked strong in the pocket attempting a total of 76 passes without an interception.

Was the offense, especially after Moses departed, that good? Or was the Lumberjack defense having that many problems giving up the big plays?

There was no question where the offense was for SFA last year, but they were very liable to give up points pretty quickly.
