Chris Jordan came through for the Sam Houston State basketball team in a huge way Saturday night in Las Cruces, N.M.
With one second left on the clock in overtime, the senior guard hit two clutch free throws to give the Bearkats a 78-77 win over New Mexico State.
The Aggies (1-2) led 77-76 with seven seconds left when Elijah Ingram made two free throws. After a timeout, Sam Houston State (3-1) inbounded the ball, worked through a full-court press and Jordan drew a foul on NMSU's Shaun Davis while driving for the basket.
