Lehigh and Lafayette will finish the 2009 LAX season this Saturday at Lehigh's Ulrich Stadium at 7:00 p.m. If you can't make the game, it will be telecast LIVE on the internet at www.Lehighsports.com. Mountain Hawks need to win in order to improve from last year's 2-4 PL record.

This game will help decide the #4 seed in the PL tourny:

A Lehigh win puts them in 4th by themselves

A Lafayette win creates a three way tie with Lehigh/Lafayette/Army (all at 2-4).
Tiebreaker (short version) - Lafayette if they win by more than 1, Army if Lafayette wins by exactly 1.
Tiebreakers (long version):
1. Records between the tied teams will be evaluated to determine if one team won more contests against the other tied institutions - no winner as all would be tied at 1-1 (Lehigh over Army, Army over Lafayette, Lafayette over Lehigh)
2. If a tie still exists, a comparison of records will be conducted for each team starting with the highest seed not involved in the tie and continuing through the lowest seed, if necessary. - no winner as all three would be 0-3 vs. the top 3, with a win over #7 Holy Cross
3. Record vs. out of league common opponents: there are no schools played by all 3 games
4. Goal differential between tied teams (max 8 per game): If Lafayette wins by 1, then all 3 would have a differential of 0 and tb would progress to next round. If Lafayette wins by more than 1, then they would win the tiebreaker
5. Goal differential, league games (max 8 per game): Army -4, Lehigh -10, Lafayette -12

Making the playoffs will be agreat boost to the program. They were really close in a number of games this year with Top 20 opponents (and actually won a couple). The win AT Army was amazing. BEAT LAFAYETTE!!
