According to Jim Fallis, the NAU athletics director, the Jacks do not have plans to drop football. A committee looked into the football program before Jim arrived, concluding that they needed football and the revenue it brought to the university. When asked about the rumors of NAU football closing up shop, he replied,"I haven't heard anything like that."

Thank you for the information. Previous threads mentioned the possibility of program ending. This is, indeed, good news.

Probably around 1000 miles, but I like to see any new Big Sky/Great West/Southland matchups.
