Central Florida???? Yes, that's correct Central Florida, Marcus, the son of the great Michael Jordan will play college basketball for the Knights of Central Florida. Other schools considering him were: Iowa, Stanford, Miami, Butler, Toledo, and Arkansas.

what does it say about a school, when talent from a city like Orlando choose to go elsewhere. I wish him luck.

I'm speaking on the UCF basketball team. There's quite a bit of talent in Orlando that they don't get. Just surprised to see Jordan go there.

I had no idea Jordan lived in Orlando...

Towson has the same problem in Baltimore. I think it has more to do with kids wanting to go away to college than the school itself.

Let's see if we can get this on track, and it's partly my fault for not being clear.
They live in Chicago. I think the problem (if you even want to call it that) is on both sides, but more so on the school when you're the only D-1 school in town. USF has the same problem, they don't go after local talent. You have to give kids a reason to come play for you.
