Ramses Barden is indeed impressive!

Barden's reputation, accomplishments and physical presence were a little intimidating for Weber State in the first round of the playoffs! But in the end he was unable to be the difference maker for that game. Mustang QB Jonathan Dally went to Barden 14 times, but was able to complete only 6 of the attempts. The 6 catches garnered an outstanding 108 yards and a couple of TDs, but the big plays were not enough to prevail over the visiting Wildcats.

At the end of the day, WSU's Josh Morris was able to hold Barden sufficiently in check to help Weber State prevail 49-35. Morris, who returns to the Wildcats for the 2009 campaign, was assisted by a single dropped pass, which is perhaps the only knock on Barden for that particular game.

I hope Barden gets his shot at the League and does us all proud!

Ahh, watching Josh Morris shut that big fella Xerxes...I mean Ramses down was great. This is the moment I will remember from that game. Barden crying like a little girl after the loss in the press conference.
