Travis, if you followed MLS outside of when the Revs are "Chasing History", you'd understand that the Dynamo are slow starters... :)

Of course, you'd be one to put too much stake in the early result and not the END result. That's what Revs' fans have been doing for most of their existence...

2008: 0-1-2 after three, 0-2-3 after five, 2-3-5 after 10 (finished season with second best record in the league)

2007: 1-1-1 after three, 2-2-1 after five, 4-5-1 after 10 (finished with third-best record in the league, MLS CHAMPIONS)

2006: 1-2 after three, 3-2 after five, 5-3-2 after 10 (finished with fifth-best record in the league, MLS CHAMPIONS).

That's not your ordinary expansion team! Sounders are doing great and I can't wait til the Pacific Northwest rivalries grow in MLS!

Hopefully the 2-1 start for the Rapids is an indication of good things to come, but given their history I'm doubting it.

On the bright side, they got the second quickest goal in MLS history last night, scoring 17 seconds into the game!

TT - I was at the game on Saturday. It was painful to watch from both sides. No flow or anything but DC got one lucky play when Emilio was able to beat everoyone to the ball and chip it over the keeper. Nothing the keeper could do about it. Dynamo had the best shot from 25 out or so that went off the cross bar late in the 2nd.
