Plax is a thug, always has been, always will be. Pure trash. He'd fit well in Vick's inner circle. (but the guy can play if a team is willing to take the chance)

Plaxico is not a thug, nor even a bad guy. He's just an immature human being with very questionable judgment. I think the characterization of Plaxico as a thug is very unfair. He was by all accounts, a good teammate.. his legal issues just were taking too long. As a Giants fan, I recognize that this was taking too much time and it was time to release Plax. The comparisons to Michael Vick or Terrell Owens are ridiculous, this was Plaxico's first serious brush and he didn't hurt anyone but himself.

I agree people throw the word thug around too loosely. He was stupid and irresponsible, but no where near a thug. Hell T.O. is as far from a thug as you can get. I know thugs and most of these guys don't even come close to that.

I stopped listening to that a long time ago.
Someone called player's in the NBA Thug's because of their dress and hair styles when they were putting in a bench dress code.

Now everytime someone curse or jaywalk's, they are labeled a thug.

I was thinking the same thing, T.O. actually has a pretty clean record as far as I know. If you're going to throw that term Plax is much more so than TO.

This is slightly off topic, but something struck me while I was watching the NCAA tournament. Could one school possibly have two more different big name Alumni cheering for them at the game? If I'm not mistaken, Magic Johnson was there as well as Plaxico. Athletic talent aside, we are certainly talking about opposite ends of the spectrum.

The only reason I included Birdman's picture is that his tour bus got pulled over in our county and they had a lot of weed on it (surprise). So he gets this prominent local lawyer to represent him. The guy gets birdman out of jail and says "We gotta walk over to my office to sign some paperwork." The guy's office is literally across the street from the courthouse. Birdman says "Man, I don't walk anywhere." Gets out his phone and calls a driver to pick him up. xlolxxlolx

Along those same lines, we were trying to explain to this lawyer (an older guy) about how popular Birdman was (he had no idea). We kept trying to tell him all these things and finally we said (kind of joking) "he's like Buddy Holly." His eyes got real wide and he said "Really!" He was ready to go after that.xlolx

Burress is not a thug. I've told this story on here before, but he went to high school with my wife in Va. Beach. He came back for his ten year reunion, went to the football game and also went to the party at a club afterwards. He could not have been nicer. He brought his girlfriend (I think she's his wife now) who was preganant and talked to everybody - even me and he had no idea who I was apart from being my wife's husband.

He has just made some poor choices that were exacerbated by bad circumstances. My guess is that his teammates probably had guns on them that night. Their's just didn't go off and shoot them in the leg.

It would be hard to explain to a well heeled, older lawyer just how big Birdman is in the business and music world.

That dude has not walked since cash money started.
They are probably the only rappers out there today where EVERY CAR you see in their video's, they own through Cash money records.
Not one is rented or leased and we are literally talking about a 100 to 150 custom cars.
