North Dakota football schedule to include five home games

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux football team will host five home football games in 2009, including three games against NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision teams.

I think it's great that UND and UCA are going to meet after most of the country is done. It's a smart move by the transitional schools, who are not eligible for the playoffs.

Is it true that UND would like affiliate membership in the SLC? They sure play their share of Southland schools.
