ESPN held the second of three teleconferences with "Draft Yoda" Mel Kiper today. Touched on a variety of subjects, and talked to Matty about Lawrence Sidbury from Richmond and Jovan Belcher from Maine.

On Sidbury-"He is a 2nd rounder and has been since the combine"

Belcher-"Late rounder, he will force his way onto a roster, has a lot of talent"

I think he is right on Sidbury. Belcher does have a lot of talent. He has great range and pretty good speed but teams are looking to move him to OLB because he lacks the size for DE. I'm not sure someone will draft him because he looked very raw at the bowl game. I see him as a Marques Murrell who could make a roster or practice squad in the right situation but likely goes undrafted.

I think Sidbury is a guaranteed first-day pick. The question in my mind is, will he make the first round? I think it's very possible.

the Maine game was the only JMU game i didn't see. oh, and Duke. so i didn't see Belcher. but if you're the Defensive POY in the CAA, you're a damn good player. guess i'm a little surprised he's only a late rounder. but again, i didn't see him play. good luck to both, make us proud!
