NOTE TO ALL POLITICIANS ....
Leave the hoop brackets and college football to the experts. Don't you have a budget to pass and taxes to cut?

GL94 - you left out the best part of the article!
In the House, Rep. Joe Barton of Texas, the top Republican on the Energy and Commerce Committee, has sponsored legislation that would prevent the NCAA from calling a football game a "national championship" unless the game culminates from a playoff system.
I did not think the NCAA called it a national championship game! That's the media, is it not?
FYI - volleyball is on the road when the Bearkats head to Hammond for football. Hope you have room in the Strawberry Stadium press box.

Correct. The networks are the ones using the term "national championship", not the NCAA.

Everyone always seems to bring this up when someone from Texas is involved. Barton went to A&M.
