Not much of a battle likely at QB for FAMU

Eddie Battle was sprinting onto the field as buzzer went off, signaling the end of a mock drill involving quarterbacks and receivers.
Battle turned to return to the sidelines. Coach Joe Taylor won't let him.
"Keep it going," Taylor said. "Keep it going."
Battle got his snaps in, just like Curtis Pulley and Martin Ukpai did during the opening day of spring practice Monday. But don't expect a true battle to intensify for the starting quarterback role.
As much as that's likely to unfold during the next four weeks, Taylor has declared Pulley as the man to beat. Pulley came in last season to assume the starting role, directing the Rattlers to one of the most remarkable turnarounds in the program's history as the team went from 3-8 to 9-3.
