Some excerpts:
But now the university needs more.
It can't take a slow-footed approach anymore, like it did in beginning the football series with Delaware State, which took Johnson's entire tenure to get done.
But now the university is beginning an ambitious plan to revamp its athletic facilities, with much of it relying on fans to keep pledging more money to the school.
The new athletic director has to be bold and innovative to make it a reality.
The school needs an athletic director who can figure out even more ways to raise money. And if that means looking into moving the football program to Division I-A, well, then that needs to be explored.
