Need Clev St and Wisc on help cover up my ACC 'tarded picks.

Otherwise I'm going by the numbers today, all higher seeds winning.

Dominic James was cleared to play today vs. Missouri. I wish Marquette would of told us this earlier as I might of picked them to the elite 8. James can change this team. Huge boost if he can give 30 minutes, 10 points and 6 assists.

yeah, a Marquette win would hurt my bracket since I have Missouri in the elite 8.

I don't think they expected him to be read, this will be a tough test for him coming back. Don't know how much (or how well) he'll play in a full court game against Mizzou.

The 'Cuse with a big W. Has the Final Four been moved to MSG since this is looking like an all-Big East tourney.....3 in the Sweet 16, could get 3 more.

Big East and Big 12 are looking great...hard to believe anyone suggested the ACC was the best conference. Odd for the Pac 10, could be looking at only Arizona in the Sweet 16, or no one.

Few upsets are setting up some great regionals...Gonzaga/NC and Cuse/Oklahoma would be great to see in Memphis.

Pitt being challenged once again--up only by one, under 4:00 to go. Oklahoma State shooting free throws after the time out . . .

Looks like Pitt's going to hold on. Huge offensive rebound and put-back by Blair with under a minute to go.

Xavier is carrying the A-10 banner again.

Looking forward to the Xavier-Pitt game. FWIW, Pitt has never gotten past the Sweet 16, while Xavier has gotten to the Elite 8 twice in the last five years . . .

Wow, what a way for Marquette to lose . . . kid steps on the line when throwing the ball inbounds.

Anyway, great games to finish off the opening weekend. Michigan State holds off USC, and Louisville still has some work to do to close out Siena . . .

Nice day, good finishes in the late games

6-2 today for me, which is great considering I could only win 6 total

12 of my Sweet 16 made it through, and 6 of my Elite 8. Luckily, all 4 of my Final 4 are still alive

I hate the phrase "giving them all they could handle" but Siena played like grown men tonight.

Terrence Williams will be a hell of a pro. His court vision is CRAZY!

Marquette got hosed! Since when can you fake an injury and come out for a new free throw shooter? If the kid is really hurt, ok, but he checked back in on the next play. LOL. The marquette player stepping on the end line is just a terrible way to lose a game, but it has to be called. How was there not a foul on the 3? I love CBS announcers as they say "would of been a mute point anyway". Ever heard of make 2 and miss the 3rd with a chance for a tip in? There was time left.

Agree on all points. Last two minutes of that game was a lot of frustration for anyone pulling for the underdog.

Some great Sweet 16 matchups. All of the No. 1, 2 and 3 seeds still in it, 2 of the No. 4s and one No. 5. The only thing that sucks is there isn't the usual two or three underdog Mid-Major teams to pull for in the sweet 16. I don't think you can call an Arizona team with 2 future solid NBA players an underdog just because they decided to underachieve all year.

The Big East has put 5 teams in the final 16.

Reminds me of a certain FCS football conference. :D

March is the only month I allow myself to root for a team from Villanova.

Well i still have two teams to pull for, Gonzaga and Syracuse, and my bracket is still a live and kicking. A pretty ho-hum first weekend but the regional matchups are awesome. Every team left has a legit shot to make it to Detroit imo.

I've got six of my elite 8 left, and the two I have out are from the same region (Midwest).

I don't think Arizona and Purdue have much of a shot to get to Detroit, and it would take something very special for Gonzaga to beat both North Carolina and Oklahoma/Syracuse.
