Saturday's on the first weekend are just about the best days in the college basketball season. I hate that Sunday bunches the games together, Saturday you get to watch all day long. Looking forward to it!!

Yep. My family's out of town and I've got it all planned...

Do the yard work first thing in the morning. Get it out of the way...then veg out on the couch until 10!!

I. can. not. wait.

Great set of games. The lack of upsets usually means a great second round.

The second round is underway with UCLA and Villanova. Both teams got all they could handle in the first round; should be a good game . . .

Wow, 'Nova can't miss--on a 17-2 run to take a 26-11 lead, 11+ to go in the first half.

Ben Howland is the Buddy Ryan of college bball. He's a great defensive coach but clueless when it comes to offense. He'll never win anything unless he changes his style some. I don't know UCLA's talent level but either his coaching style stakes away from it or he's not recruiting what he should.

No defense at all by UCLA in this game, though.

Villanova about to wrap up the blowout over UCLA.

Memphis-Maryland and UConn-aTm up next.

Memphis seems to be a much better outside-shooting team than it was last year.

Terrible games so far today.

Purdue-Washington and Texas-Duke will hopefully make up for these.
