I have respected Richmond since the Jim Reid days and I have a cousin who lives in Richmond and her daughter takes classes at Richmond. She is happy for me if Delaware does well but I shouldn't reciprocate?

Maybe one Hen poster, not the rest. Don't indict every Delaware fan because of one poster. Seems to be a pretty common phenomenon on this board. I don't make a blanket indictment about UMASS or Youngstown just because of a few obnoxious posters. In fact, I don't think you can name one team that doesn't have a few rude posters on here. I thought Hampton had a great season and believe they could have beaten a number of teams in the playoff. Richmond is just really playing well now. Congratulations on a great season.

Congrats to Hampton on a great season.

But the Spiders might be the best team in the country over the past eight weeks, except for New Hampshire. This team might even save football at UR and get the on-campus stadium built (finally).

Interesting correlation between the Spiders and the Wildcats! This UNH team has definitely put football back on the map in Durham and hopefully will be the springboard toward getting an enhanced facility.

Hmmm, I see the # of posts, I am unsure what that has to do with Richmond. Conference love is great and all but it was still gloating in a vicarious manner. I can have an opinion...believe me, just b/c you have a lot more posts than me doesn't me that it wasn't annoying as hail. Like I said I am a grumpy girl. My team just lost 38-10, and I have got to put up with a cranky pants for the next month I'd say.

UD fans took a beating this year... but unlike some... we didn't run away. I stayed and took my medicine as did most other Hen fans.

Here is one UR fan that was at the game, to late to post when I finished the trip I-64W.

First CONGRATS to HU for a great season! Your team speed caused us problems until we wore you down, we kept hitting you until we could control the middle then it was all over. #11 Princeton was quick, evasive and hard to bring down when you did hit him. BTW he came out after he came up limping from one tackle--didn't really look 100% when he came back at the end, but by then we could just pin our ears back and attack. #3 Smith threw about 3 of the prettiest passes I have ever seen to receivers that had run near perfect routes--it's no wonder you guys beat alot of teams. Don't get down on your kicker, we almost blocked every kick he attempted--he was a little rushed back there. Your return men are scary, your running backs were solid, your receivers were the kind any QB wants to throw to, your D was tough, all in all great team--like I said we just wore you down. Your fans, band and everyone were pure class! You represented your school well! Enjoyed the crowd, the game, good luck to you guys hope we get to see you again! Hamptongal, like I said before thanks for the service, you and your friends come home soon safe, secure and job finished!

For us now it's time to break out the film and see how we can stop Ingle Martin and FU.
