From Star Player to Up-and-Coming (FCS) Coach
Guilian Gary is finding success as receivers coach at Towson.

Guilian Gary appeared headed to the NFL following a stellar career at the University of Maryland. A nasty confrontation in preseason camp helped send him in another direction, and now the Horseheads High graduate is a rising star in the college coaching ranks.
Gary enters his fifth season as wide receivers coach at Towson University, which starts spring practice March 27. Based on his record, Gary appears to have future offensive coordinator written all over him. But Gary said he’s in no hurry to change jobs, and he was retained in his position after Rob Ambrose replaced Gordy Combs as head coach following last season.
