If we lived in a perfect world:

The Tostitos College Basketball Championship Game in Detroit: Louisville vs North Carolina
The Fedex March Classic in Miami: Pittsburgh vs Duke
The Allstate Hoops Classic in Minneapolis: UConn vs Memphis
The Roundball Challenge presented by Citi in St Louis: Michigan St vs Oklahoma
.
.
.
.
The Gaylord Hotels Music City Hoghide Spectacular in Nashville: NDSU vs Stephen F Austin

Maybe then the regular season would mean something, maybe then we could avoid the total lack of effort teams like UConn and Syracuse have shown in their conference tournaments since they don't mean anything. Then we could rightly award powerhouse .500 teams like Seton Hall, NC State, and Ole Miss with their carrot at the end of the season for "trying darn hard" to put together a winning season. Stupid basketball playoffs... without this asinine tournament we could listen to expert overanalysis from ESPN for a whole month about the same teams and games.

For God's sake, let the computers decide it, not the players!!!

Are you trying to say that Uconn and Syracuse didn't show effort in the conference tournament?

Yes! Isn't it obvious that the 6OT travesty that they called a basketball game is exhibit A that the NCAA Division 1 basketball is a joke... if only all sports had the great luxury of the infinite wisdom of the BCS.

I'm kidding of course

Well said thunderstruck, the world without three letter computer systems would be, well, a much better place.

BCS, GPI, AIG, UGH.

Yeah, if college basketball starting thinking straight like football, for once, the schools would be making sooo much more money than they are now!

Where is the online petition to sign for this! Only we can make the difference!
