Would be great for Tech to pull off the upset at the last second like Carolina last year.

Well, if Hainsbitch had been called for travelling every time he took 4 steps with the ball, or was called for a foul every time he used his elbow, then VT would be up by 15 right now. xsmhx xsmhx xsmhx

Shows you the impact of not having Lawson in the game.

This is true, VaTech's guards are the force of the team.

And for having the refs on your side. xthumbsupx

I am not a Tech fan or a UNC fan, but the favoritism that the refs showed UNC in this game was just ridiculous. There was at least a 15-20 point spread as a result of the calls and non-calls. xsmhx

I just got off the phone with a buddy of mine.
Him and another one of our friend's had just walked into the Gerogia Dome.
They called just to mess with me.xmadx

If the committee watched this game...IN. They were the better team, 5 on 5.

If the committee didn't watch the game...OUT. a 5-man VT squad can't compete against UNC with their 8 players on the court.

Tech is out.... and they don't deserve to be in. A loss is a loss... they didn't beat a team that had the ACC player of the year sitting on the bench.

The thing is that everyone (except Baylor) is playing their way out of the bubble which means that teams on a skid may be staying on the bubble and getting in because everyone around them is messing up.

It's a few teams making good cases for themselves.

It'll be interesting to see where the Big East falls out after last night, but that's another thread. xsmiley_wix
