Minnesota High School Hockey FCS Connections

Went to the first round of the state tourney yesterday, and saw a couple hockey recruits going to FCS schools. Here is a current list of Minnesota Hockey players going to FCS schools that have hockey programs.

Brendan Baker, Edina HS - Holy Cross, best defenseman I saw yesterday.
Marshall Everson, Edina HS - Harvard, Crimson are getting a solid player.
Derek Forbort, Duluth East - UND, scored a goal in first round loss.
Danny Mattson, Academy of Holy Angels - UND
Matt McNeeley, St Thomas Academy - Maine

Everson scored 7 goals in the Tourney, and made the all-tourney team.

Eden Prairie won the big school championship over Moorhead 3-0
Trent Johnson (uncommitted) Moorhead won the Herb Brooks Award
Breck beat Warroad for the small school title

His brother was our starting running back here at Concordia-Moorhead (D-III) and is our all-time leading rusher, and captain of our hockey team. I'm about 95% sure Trent is coming here as well.

Cobbers are getting a great kid. Heard they lost their mother a couple years ago to cancer, and dad has some health problems.
