CSN Down South: Two Southland Quarterbacks Working to Duplicate Success of 2002 SLC QB Draft Class

2001 was a banner year in the Southland Conference. The league placed three teams in the playoffs, with each of the three — McNeese State, Northwestern State and Sam Houston State — finishing the season in the top 15 of The Sports Network poll.
Also importantly, the league had its best year ever in the NFL draft as five players from the conference were drafted in the April 2002 National Football League Draft.
