We my little brother hooked me with tickets to the Bullets game tonight...executive suite! Free food and drinks! Whoo-hoo!
I also got a aprking pass, but I think I'm going to take the Metro.
We stink pretty badly, firing Eddie Jordan was a disaterous decision. I have Chris Paul on my fantasy NBA team, so I'm psyched about seeing him play.

Nothing big. I just don't accept the name change. All those years rooting hard for a pathetic team. Working hard, finally making the post season only to get served up to the GDed Bulls. They changed their name and I figured it was a gift from God to cut ties. Of course that only worked for a couple years, so I'm back, but I refuse to call them the Wizards.
FYI, more than half of the stuff in the Verizon center fan store is red white and blue Bullets gear. I am not alone.

Better make sure that the "tickets" don't say Bullets on 'em Andy.
Just sayin'. :p

I always thought it was strange to change the name. Did they think it gave the city a negative perception?

Or were the ties to Baltimore too strong? IIRC, it was the Baltimore Bullets first. Then they moved to DC, correct?
I can still visualize Wes Unseld ripping down a rebound and throwing a perfect outlet pass!! xnodx xnodx

That's the excuse they gave. At the time DC was on top of murders. Completely ignoring the saying "faster than a speeding bullet"

Yeah Baltimore Bullets, then they moved South, but they were the Washington Bullets for quite awhile.
BTW, the seats were great! Right at center court!

Or were you scoping the crowd the entire time for your next "I'd hit it"? xpeacex

As much as Brendan Haywood sucks, his absence is glaring this year. With about 3 minutes left, we pulled within 7 points... then NO went on a 12 point run and it was over.
There were a couple cuties in our suite, but I was having too much fun with my nephew (filling him up with popcorn and soda when his Dad wasn't looking..

If he is missed does he really suck?
I feel you on the name thing; I am not on board with the "Bobcats" name for Charlotte.
