Two conferences for the price of one!
Go Georgetown, St John's, Providence, Seton Hall, DePaul, Marquette, Villanova, and Notre Dame. And take Xavier and Dayton with you!

#16 DePaul upsets #9 Cincinnati in the first game of the day.
DePaul went 0-18 in the Big East during the regular season. Good time to pick up the first win.

Wow DePaul hurting the chances of two bubble teams. Cincy is done and now Providence has to play a sub-100 RPI team instead of Cincy who was around 50. Friars will get no credit for that win and are buried with a loss....they may have to beat Louisville now.

I think Cincy was already on the outside looking in, before that loss, they had a bad loss in their last game.

Well if they were on the bubble after the loss to Seton Hall, they are definately out. This is like their 4-5 th loss in a row!

I think they were pretty much on the outside looking in before this afternoon.

What sucks is that this just makes Maryland look more attractive to the committee

True, they probably needed three wins. I think it was a bigger deal for Providence, who could have used one more good win against a team like Cincy.

I agree. But they may get the benefit of being in the Big East.

It's going to take a couple of tourney wins to help the Terps.

And Georgetown can be officially removed from the bubble. They probably needed at least three wins anyway, maybe even a trip to the title game.

Two games, two upsets. Could set up some easier games tomorrow for Providence and Marquette. Thursday could be a good "vacation" day.
