Pro days are in full swing now and it is well known that FCS players who are snubbed for the combine but do well in all-star games and their pro day will likely get drafted.

Here is a list of players who have put up impressive performances thus far.

CB D.J. Clark, Idaho State (did not play in an all-star game so not likely he gets drafted higher than late 7th round)
WR Dudley Guice, NW State

I will update throughout the pro days so keep checking back for new names.

I heard Jason Williams ran mid to low 4.4s and if true that probably puts him 4th or 5th round.

Very sad for Q. When I saw the 4.4 I noted that's a slow time for him. Also, it appears as though he did not even participate in the vertical and long jump tests. He was a state champion high jumper in high school and was reputed to have a vertical of around 40 inches. What a tough break for him to have that broken ankle during his senior season. Even if he'd had it during his junior season he'd have had a full year to recover before having to go through the NFL testing.

That is not bad for Lawrence. He had been clocked at 4.35 by NFL scouts and ran 4.40 after surgery. Hopefully he can get that down to 4.35 before the draft and show he is 100% recovered.

Seems like you have inside sources that give you info on players.
Pierre Banks ran for scouts at UNC's pro day today.
Players who attended this workout that were not UNC players could only run their 40's.
They were not allowed to participate in any of the other drills b/c of some school liability policy.
Those players were forced to run on a soaking wet lacrsse field.(Its been raining in thr RDU area since last Friday) instead of the indoor practice facility that UNC players ran on..
Banks had the fastest time of the non UNC players at 4.55
Scouts were impressed with his time given the field conditions.
Appalachains pro day is next wednesday.
I'll keep you updated..

Best of luck to Banks, Courman, and Young. They are the only three with any shot of getting into a camp from what I'm told.

I have seen Breaux play and while he is not slow I am somewhat surprised he is a 4.48 guy. He plays like a 4.55-4.60 guy on tape.

According to NFL.com, which I usually go by. They have Link running faster than what someone else posted on here at 5.45. Lawrence was a little slower at 4.42 and 4.43.

Mike Godsil, C from Liberty, put up some ridiculous number of reps at 225. It was 40+, I know that much. Kid is just pure strength. I hope someone gives him a look, even though he is a little under the radar.

I heard from some media people that he is looking for an agent. Usually when a player has to look for an agent by now he isn't getting looks from the NFL. His size hurts him so I'm not sure he will get into a NFL camp. Hopefully it works out for him as I know he was a very good player for Liberty.

You have to remember that you likely have several scouts all taking down times on a stopwatch, unless they had one designated person doing it.. If so, not sure why there is a difference between the guy reporting for NFL.com and what mcneese reported.. Although on lawrence, very little difference from 4.40 and 4.42.
Interesting that NFL.com only mentioned the 2 guys they invited to the combine, while there were other impressive times.. That's how team's get steals from lesser known schools by doing their own legwork away from the spotlight.

Here is what NFL.com states:

McNeese State
On March 10, 10 team representatives, including Ravens offensive line coach John Matsko, attended to watch 16 players work out outdoors on FieldTurf. The notable prospects were as follows:

OT Kyle Link (6-5 5/8, 303 pounds) ran a 5.47 and 5.45 in the 40, had a 27.5-inch vertical, a 7-foot, 11-inch broad jump, a 4.84 short shuttle, a 7.70 three-cone drill and did 20 bench press lifts.

WR Quinten Lawrence (5-11 7/8, 190 pounds) worked out well. He ran a 4.42 and 4.43 in the 40, did 21 bench press reps and caught the ball extremely well, but did not do the jumps or shuttles due to injury.

Yeah there are 32 different times on most runs because each team uses their own and not even the official times that the NFL Network gave out.

Colonels hoping to impress NFL scouts

THIBODAUX — An opportunity.

Defensive back Lardarius Webb works on drills during Nicholls State’s pro day on Thursday at the team’s practice field in Thibodaux.
Abby Tabor/Staff

That’s what Thursday was for a number of former Nicholls State football players.

Some of last season’s senior players participated in the school’s pro day, where a handful of NFL scouts were on hand for workouts and conditioning drills.

NFL teams represented were the New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, St. Louis Rams and Tennessee Titans, along with a few others.

With the NFL draft approaching next month, it was one of few opportunities for these players to make an impression on the scouts.

“This is very important because (the scouts) don’t see us on TV week after week,” cornerback Lardarius Webb said. “They only get a limited time with us. I’m not going to say they grade us more precisely than the others, but they do. We’re (a) smaller (school), so they really want to know where we’re at.”

Webb has already made an impression on NFL scouts, having worked out at the NFL combine in Indianapolis in early February. He is being projected as a mid-round pick.

At the combine, Webb ran the fastest 40-yard dash (4.46) of all defensive backs and was considered a top performer in the 3-cone drill and the 20-yard shuttle.

Because of those impressive numbers, he only participated in the suicide-run drill and position drills at Thursday’s pro day.

For the other players, including wide receiver Patrick Gordon, it was important to impress in every drill.

“I thought I ended it strong,” Gordon said of the workout. “I started out a little nervous. It’s three months of preparation for one day. You kind of (have to) get the butterflies out. Once we got out of the weight room and came out on the field, I felt a little more natural.”

The pro day was a culmination of extensive preparation for Gordon and his teammates.

“I’ve been training for this day, trying to get my 40 down,” Gordon said. “Hopefully I can get picked up as a free agent and get invited to a camp and just prove myself as a football player. It’s been tough. Hopefully this day helped a little bit to show the scouts that I can play football at the next level.”

In recent years, Nicholls has had a number of players contribute at “the next level.”

Last year, Kareem Moore was drafted by the Washington Redskins, and the year before, Jacob Bender was picked by the New York Jets.

“It’s really big for us, to have all these NFL coaches and scouts here,” Nicholls coach Jay Thomas said. “It’s great for our program … for these guys to come in and take the time to look at our players.

“We’re getting kind of used to it. We’re getting into the routine. We had Jacob a couple years ago and then Kareem, last year. We kind of want to keep that going a little bit,” Thomas added.

Found a little something on MSU running back Demetrius Crawford.

Productive back at the FCS level. Had a terrific senior season, rushing for over 1300 yards.

Stole the show as the lone Bobcat at the U of Montana's Pro Day putting up 24 bench reps, running 4.47/4.50, doing an amazing 6.40 3-cone, a 33" VJ, and a 9'5" broad jump.

Shake and baker who picks up yards on the edge in a blink. Not very big but surprisingly strong. Leaps for extra yardage. Has some moves. Has some leg drive.

Draft Projection: Priority UDFA. Outstanding Pro Day gets him to camp
