Didn't see this so I'll pass it along.

The NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions has penalized Florida State University for major violations in its athletics program.

The case involved academic fraud affecting more than 60 student-athletes across 10 sports, as well as impermissible benefits, unethical conduct by three former academic support services staff members, and a failure to monitor by the university.

The sports programs involved in these violations include football, baseball, men's track and field, women's track and field, men's swimming, women's swimming, men's basketball, women's basketball, softball and men's golf.

Penalties for the violations include four years of probation, scholarship reductions, vacation of records, and show-cause penalties for the former staff members.

I still think it's funny they can investigate 60 athletes in multiple sports along with staff members accused of inappropriate actions....but yet they can't render a decision about Reggie Bush.

Oh wait the NCAA is on USC's dick...that's right.

Must be nice to get away with "murder" and not have any penalties like no TV or no bowl game.

Good to see the NCAA come down on FSU. They've been running a sleezey program for long enough that something HAD to happen. They took over for the U. in the early 90's as Florida's renegade program.

They didn't do nearly enough though.
