during commercials, timeouts and halftime I will be doing my best to update this link with drive charts and statistics. I have never tried this before so it could prove to be a complete disaster.

I have the basic setting up and ready to go, the Colgate drives will be highlighted by a yellowish bar and New Hampshire's with a blueish.

Don't take this the wrong way...but "The Gate" is not very good (self edit...so as not to be too harsh).

That is a shame, so many good teams not in the playoff.

That's why they need to expand the playoffs to allow some "Play-in" type games.

UNH looks OK, but the story in this one is how awful Colgate is. This is a conference champ?! UNH, with a few exceptions, hasn't done anything that impressive, they've just got Colgate outclassed. The ineptness of Colgate is amazing. UNH will be tough for the UNI/EWU winner, but they aren't getting any justice out of playing a high school equivalent this week... :asswhip:

1993 was our first year in the SoCon for football. We were accepted in 1991, winter and spring sports started soCon play in 1992 but football didn't start until 1993. No big deal, just splitting hairs. We won our first year in the SoCon. I still have the SoCon t-shirt...."Georgia Southern's Conference".

Easy to make plays against weak competition. I have no doubt that both players are exceptional athletes, but I'm not impressed by Santos' arm, his feet have been impressive however. Ball is just plain faster than anyone in Colgate's secondary. That go-route with :20 left in the half ain't gonna cut it against a decent team; junior high kids are taught not to let the receiver get behind them at the end of a half, Colgate must've forgotten to teach their DBs that one...

we have had trouble all year with scrambling quarterbacks and turnovers and that is pretty much how you can sum up this entire game. I was expecting a much better game but congrats to UNH, you guys are gonna be a tough team to beat. Jordan Scott is a bright spot for Colgate though, he is gonna be a great player.
As for Penguin- you are probably the least classy person i have met on this board. We certainly are not playing well, but guess what???? we made the playoffs. We started the year tough but finished strong and had some huge wins agains UMass and Lafayette. We did what we had to do to make the playoffs and it is only the 2nd year of scholorships (i think) and it was a good season. I think YSU is a very good team but try not to take your anger out on other teams and stop playing D2 teams.

Good Luck to all remaining teams and see you on the field next year.

Well my preview earlier in the week... http://www.geocities.com/tjliles04/colgateatunh

I predicted New Hampshire 56 Colgate 13 so I was practically right on with that, I also said UNH had the advantage when they run and a colgate fan wanted to know why i thought that, todays performance certainly shows why.

Congratualtions to Colgate on a fine season, and bring on UNI or Eastern Washington!

No full schollies are allowed for football. It's still needs based assistance only. Most schools now give scholarships for basketball. That might have started in 2003.

Colgate is not the first or only team that UNH destroyed this season. It's not hte first game that another teams put up 50 points on Colgate this season either. Colgate was the auto-bid and that is why they are in the Post season.
It's unlikely Colgate would have gotten an at-large bid had Lehigh beaten Lafayette. Lafayette absolutely deserved the at-large selection.

I tried finding the post with the cow bell questions that I had read, but was unsuccessful. Frankly, I can't recall if it was here or CAAZone or the AE Forum!! :D

Anyway, if it was you, then yes you definitely heard a cow bell in the stands. It was between the forties about 10 rows up. It was very close to where the parents of the players sit, but I can't really say if it WAS a parent. I always watch from up on the top of the home side, standing at about the 25 (East side).

Yesterday was really a blast, everything was amped up notches. Press coverage was off the wall -- no longer just Zhe, Pike and Lessells!!!! Crowd actually made noise! Coaches of other sports were working as ushers! Can't wait to do it again this Saturday!!! Although I'm hoping that the game stays at Noon -- a night game will be fricken cold! Hope to find out the following week!! Hoop vs. LIU that night in Lundholm that I want to see.
