All-American Tommy Heinsohn of Holy Cross plays the best game of his college career in his last home appearance in Worcester. The rugged front-line performer scores 51 points and grabs 42 rebounds to lead a 111-75 rout of Boston College. After finishing fourth in the nation in scoring (27.4 ppg) and eighth in rebounding (21.1 rpg), he値l join the Boston Celtics next season and be part of eight NBA championship teams during his nine years in the league. In 1986, he値l be elected to the Hall of Fame.
