A. The Eagles are starving for WR help

B. Harrison is from & still lives in Philly

C. Would reunite with fellow 'Cuse alum Donavan McNabb

The Birds certainly look to be the leader in the clubhouse.....

I don't think he could hurt them. I just wonder what he has left. Has all potential NFL ramification from the gun incident passed? I remember a couple weeks ago the Phila DA dropped the case due to lack of evidence.

Trouble with the law seesm to only really affect a player who fights dogs...

And I bet he will be back...

Well if he moves back there, he will be that much closer to the jail he should be in for the shooting outside of that sports bar.

But on a serious note.... I can see him signing a 1 or 2 year deal for a couple million per year. He may not have a lot left in the tank.... but he still has more than most of Philly's receivers (except DeSean Jackson... who if he can take his head out of his rear end, could be great).

Please... no... Let's go with option D. Get Boldin, and then Harrison can go out to Arizona and be Fitzgeralds Scottie Pippen.

The guys on WIP radio this morning discussed the topic, and the consensus was that this won't happen. Harrison's skills and speed have deteriorated.

So because of Angelo Cataldi's football personnel accumen we should say it's a bad idea??

Did you watch any Colts games this year? Harrison is done, there is a reason why the Colts are letting him go. His game is based on quickness and precise route running. He lost his quickness (exept when running and firing his gun) and his precise route running will be lost with McNabb's questionable accuracy at times. He is a bad fit for the Eagles.

Much rather have TJ Whosyourmomma than Marvin.

I agree on TJ Whosyourmomma

I agree that Harrison is probably too far over the horizon the be much help. Money down a rat hole IMO. I'd like to see them make a run a very good, young WR.

3rd here. But compromising on Harrison would be status quo ever since TO left.

Actually, it was more G Cobb than Angelo, but Angelo isn't wrong 100% of the time.

They can probably get Harrison cheaper than TJ Whosyourmomma and Anquan Boldin. That plays a big part as well.

I hate the eagles with every fiber of my being, but why does nobody give Kevin Curtis any credit?

Well if he wouldve caught the ball on 4th down, maybe the Eagles wouldve been in the Super Bowl. xbawlingx

I'll give him credit, he is a good receiver, decent hands, pretty good speed, a tough guy who will go over the middle and take a shot from a LB or DB/S. Nothing wrong with those qualities at all.

But the Eagles still could add another good receiver to the mix. This would be my ideal list of WR's for next season:

1) DeSean Jackson
2) TJ Whosyourmomma
3) Kevin Curtis
4) Jason Avant
5) Hank Baskett

The Eagles should sign Marvin Harrison for the sole responsibility of teaching DeSean Jackson to not be such a cocky jerk. Harrison is a class act and Jackson could learn ALOT from Harrison. If a team can sign Harrison to a 1 or 2 year contract at like 2 million a year, you can't go wrong. Veteran presence like Harrison's would help a locker room whether he produces on the field or not.

Or they'll form a Car Wash Gang and ride off into the sunset...

Laveranues Coles was released by the Jets so there's another WR for the Eagles to consider. Given the Eagles mentality Housh should be the #1 guy. He's been both ultra productive and relatively low keep on what is an otherwise bad and disfunctional team. Boldin might be the better wr but i think he comes with a little more baggage. Whatever they do they need to get either Coles, Boldin or Housh and then after they sign one of them get Harrison. If they only get Harrison and not one of the 3, Philly should go irate.

Has this 'class act' been cleared of all the charges related to the shooting he may or may not have been involved in??? So he can than be signed to teach the 'cocky jerk' how to act professional???
