Why not Montana? I mean, it's possible, isn't it? Or do you think he's going to go FBS and sit out a year since he's only a sophomore?

I don't think the Griz need a QB right now. Selle looks good so far, then you have Larson, Kemp & Zapata. There are greater needs than QB in Grizland IMHO.

I honestly know nothing about this guy and am fishing for info. Only saw Nebraska once this past year and Witt didn't play in that game. My initial impression is that he's an idiot for leaving the team when he seems to be the top returning QB. I wonder if he might land at a Southland (SHSU in particular) school.

I have to always laugh when I hear people talk about a kid that gets drunk and rowdy being a trouble maker. If that is the case then the majority of us were trouble makers.xrolleyesx

xlolxxlolxxlolx you are kidding me right? 18 yrs old, drinking with a fake ID and running from the police. That was a given when I was at Sam Houston. It was nothing to run from campus police. I guess I am a trouble maker then. xcoolx

You run as fast drunk as you do sober? What are you drinking, liquid crack?

My undergrad Alma Mater(not ASU) took a QB transfer from Nebraska who was the #3 QB in his HS class and he has done nothing but throw the ball to any player on the opposing team. He blew a bowl game with 2 INTs after the starter got injured, and I'm pretty sure he didn't get along with many players. Basically, be careful you would not want to end up like we did.

Most college students who have any athletic ability can out run a college cop drunk, at least the college cops I've seen.

They must not drink very much at your college. Most of the college kids I know can't hardly walk when they get drunk.

Don't start that old crowd crap.

I do remember making the short drive from Palarm to Conway and my car dragging as I crossed the tracks because it was loaded down with product.

Yes, they sell alcohol in Arkansas. However, some counties are "wet" while some are "dry".

UCA is located in a dry county but it is only about 15 miles to the county line, no big deal.

What a joke. Time for some new county leadership.

What a fool. He may have thrown away his future.

Evidently, however, he seems to have been a good student, and he may be able to redeem himself in the future. I hope he keeps his nose clean and good luck to him where ever he may end up.

That said, I hope not to see him in a home uniform in San Luis Obispo (though I don't know what the new coaching staff's attitude would be on this).

Let somebody else give him a 2nd chance. I, at least, want to keep my fantasy alive, that my school is where the "good" guys and gals go. (Yes, I know that there are problem people everywhere, everywhere except Cal Poly). Go Mustangs!

Not really. The county can be changed from dry to wet if enough of the voters choose to do so.

Free country, we have the right to live down here and live in dry counties if we want (I live in a wet county). Ya'll have the right to live up there and freeze your asses off.

4.0 GPA. Sounds like he made a mistake 2 years ago and moved forward.

He was recruited by a different coaching staff.

Conway, Arkansas...city motto: "We've never had a liquor store held up at gunpoint!" I revised it to say, "We've never had a liquor store!" but then I was reminded that Toadsuck used to have a bar. (Yes, I said Toadsuck, wanna make somethin' of it?) xlolxxlolxxlolxxlolxxlolx
