The rumor mill is heating up.
The most recent is that fired NWST head coach Scott Stoker may be announced as a member of the SHSU football staff sometime this week.
Here is his bio from his days in purple and white...

He has experience as a coordinator on both sides of the ball. A solid recruiter, he could probably help any program - especially SHSU - continue to expand the areas we are seeing out talent, especially as Texas becomes so overwhelmed with Div I coaches.

Two football coaching staff positions are currently posted on the SHSU Human Resources page...which means some sort of process is going on as contrary to the belief of some, SHSU is a public institution and held to the guidelines of the state of Texas as far as job posting/hiring goes...
Assistant Head Football Coach..

I was really hoping he would get the opportunity to get out of the SLC but Ces't la vie.
That will heat up the SFA rivalry, lol

No downside, especially since he's not the "face of the program" so we don't have to deal with him talking much, which is always one of the things we made fun of him about in Huntsville. xnodx
This will help SHSU recruit Louisiana, watch out Demons! xthumbsupx
Word is we got a very well known commodity in the state of Texas to fill the other assistant opening on the offensive side.

Stoker can talk all he wants. We need someone walking the sideline with some nads. Lord knows we dont have that in a head coach. And Terror, it isnt any rumor. Look for announcement early next week.

So Terror, are you going to hate your own team now that Stoker is coaching for them?

Does this mean Sam Houston will run the ball 35 times a game?

I have no worries. He's not the face of the program and therefore, we do not have to deal with the same ole shtick!

Stoker will not be our OC. ;)

Naive?
"having or showing a lack of experience, judgment, or information"
That sounds like most of the "bumpkins" who continue to having a feeding frenzy with all these crazy myths about our program which continue to be proved untrue.... xwhistlex
