LEHIGH announces 2009 recruits

I'm no great judge of recruiting classes, but it appears on the surface to be a very solid group. 26 recruits with significant pick-ups in the needed areas of RB, WR and DL. There appears to be some nice size in the WR group and some beef on the lines. It seems that Coen has again validated his credentials as a solid recruiter.

Overall, color me impressed, though I was surprised that 0 FB were signed.

I think you'll see a TE/LB end up in the backfield, where we seem to be over stocked right now.
The class does seem impressive--especially with the glowing 'character' remarks given by the people who know these kids. The kid from Ben Franklin in Philly sounds like a real leader--maybe in the Kaloma Cardwell mold.
