The Black Knights of the Hudson invade Lehigh's "Snake Pit" at Grace Hall tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. There is anticipated to be four match-ups of potential top 20 wrestlers. Lehigh will also wrestle Franklin & Marshall College at 3 p.m.;however, the Army match will be a real challenge as the Mountain Hawks look to extend their 20-1 record toward the school record of 22, and three matches remaining. Outcome could well come down to bonus points earned in some of the less competitive weights.

Lehigh stood strong against the much improved Army Black Knights this afternoon at Grace Hall winning 7 of ten bouts, and one of those losses was a default that may have also been in LU's win column had John McDonald at 125 not injured his knee. It is unknown how serious the injury is at the moment. The Mountain Hawks won easily over the 10-4 Army by a 27-12 score, getting a fall from Fisk and major decisions by Bilodeau, Galante, Craig. #14 Chinn, however, lost a nail-biter, 3-1 to #10 Kyler with a takedown in the final 10 seconds at the edge of the mat.
In the second match of the day, Lehigh beat F & M by a 28-18 score when HC Santoro rested some regulars and gave some kids who had never wrestled a varsity match before in Grace Hall take to the mats. The big surprise, though, was at 174 when regular #17 Caruso was decked by Herbert in a surprise headlock/takedown to his back. That temporarily put the Diplomats in 'only' a 22-12 deficit, so Craig had to wrestle without warming up at 184 and still pulled out a nice win.
Lehigh is now 22-1 on the season, tying the school record for most wins in a season, with one match remaining next Sunday versus Penn in Grace Hall.
