I'm excited about Texas States signing class. The Cats pulled in a lot of linemen which is really needed. And a juco transfer to fill in the TE position that emptied to graduation.

I hope we redshirt the big boys and bulk them up. Reddic at RB will help keep the great running game at Texas State lasting even longer.

The University of Central Arkansas football coaching staff announced a class of 24 signees on Wednesday at a press conference/reception in the Hall of Fame Room at Estes Stadium

The Class of 2009 includes five student-athletes from Arkansas, six from Texas, four each from Louisiana and Mississippi, two from Tennessee and Alabama and one from Arizona. Also, looking at the SLC recruiting classes there seem to be quite a bit of kids from Galveston Ball who went Div I. Interesting considering they were out of school for almost 2 months due to Ike, missed like 3 games and won only 1 district game if I remember correctly. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

We signed an offensive lineman from there (Geremy Wilson) whom we felt was FBS quality...no doubt the hurricane and the shortened season hindered their ability to be evaluated.
