Any guesses on the winner this weekend? I'm taking my brother to his first NASCAR event and I've assured him that Mikey will be on Victory Lane. He wouldn't buy it.

My top 5 finishers:
1. J. Gordon
2. B. Labonte
3. J. Johnson
4. K. Kahne
5. M. Waltrip

I have to say that Hendrick is looking better at the restrictor plater races but I don" think you can count dei just yet. List looks good but unfortunately I would also throw in Jr.

You're going??? Oh man, I would love to see a restrictor plate race. I only get to see the Dover, DE, race two times a year.

1) #24
2) #15
3) #8
4) #48
5) #16

Never wrong going with Waltrip in a restrictor car race. Never wrong at all...

Jeff Gordon is using his backup restrictor car cause he won Daytona and that #1 car is at DaytonaUSA. Gordon knows how to do restrictor-car racing and should be top five without fail.

It was a great race (restrictor plate races always are for the fans), and my brother enjoyed it tremendously. "The Big One" happened right in front of us, and it did appear to be Earnhardt's fault. But, of course, you're not going to get 70% of the crowd to admit that. That was Jr.'s fan percentage. Talladega is definitely fan friendly for the #8 car. But, the remaining 30% are certainly Gordon fans, and they enjoyed the results! He definitely deserved the win, and his teammate Johnson deserved a better fate. But, believe it or not, the grandstands got the loudest when Waltrip took a very short-lived lead with only about 8 laps to go. I felt good about it, me being a fan of the #15 car, until I realized it was probably just the Earnhardt fans cheering for the teammate to beat Gordon. Honestly, I felt that Waltrip got out of line, and good position, to slide back and help Junior on several occasions Sunday. And what did Earnhardt do when he got the help? Used the draft from the #15 car to push his way up into the field, and then left Mikey hanging out to dry. I don't know if that is what happened, but it did appear to go down like that. I lost a lot of respect for the #8 car at Talladega this weekend.
