Watched the US beat Sweden this weekend. They looked pretty good. I don't think it was an "A" squad for the Swedish but still.

How are we looking for the Mexico match?

It's Mexico...we OWN that team. We could field 9 guys and still beat them. :D

US Soccer is definately on the up and up IMO ... I would really love to win the world cup one of these years...

If we can host it again in 2014 or 2018 it would be a our best chance.

Wasn't really our A squad either. Some top players were in Europe. Good to see some youth step up to the role.

I know. I laughed at our last ranking. Its too hard to rank the teams when most of the friendlies they play don't have all their usual starters.

Why is that unrealistic? You don't recall 2002 when a non-call hand ball against Germany kept the US from facing South Korea in the semifinals? xeyebrowx

Mexico does for all the citizens and former citizens of Mexico in the US. Good way to get the good money.
