Was a great day to be wearing Brown and White on Old South Mountain.
First the wrestling team, ranked #8 in country, clobbered Harvard 38-3 and Brown 29-7 in the ol' "Snake Pit" in the afternoon. In between matches, the "legends" of Lehigh wrestling were introduced as part of the school's celebration of our 100th year of intercollegiate wrestling. Team's record has now soared to 18-1.
At the same time, the Mountain Hawks basketball team beat arch-rival (mildly stated) Lafayette in the Leopards Kirby Fieldhouse, 60-57. The women achieved the same beating of the Leotards at Stabler by a much more comfortable margin.
The evening ended with a grand soiree at the Saucon Valley Country Club with over 300 in attendance for a very fine dinner and program capturing the historic 100 years of Lehigh wrestling.xnodxxthumbsupx
