I was just looking at the forecast for Saturday in Boone; partly cloudy with a chance of snow showers and a high temperature of 30. Sounds like a good day for football. I hope the Lafayette folks realized they weren't getting a typical trip down south when they were sent to Boone.

Any chance of weather being a factor in any of the other 1st round games?

The forecast for Durham NH is partly cloudy, high around 35 with chance of snow showers.

That's pretty mild for Colgate and UNH players...

Forget the weather for a minute - what about altitude at Boone? Has LC ever played high?

Are you implying that drug screening is needed?

Worst playing conditions I ever played in was at Cal Poly. That includes a December 15th trip to Wash Griz the year before. I think those boys will be just fine.

According to the paper the fog here won't lift until Saturday, and that is being optimistic. If ti does life it will be for snow or rain showers, so basically your Missoula weather choice for Saturday is freezing fog, or snow.

Also if Cal Poly fans are booking flights to Missoula I recommend trying to get a flight into Butte or Helena instead - very few flights are arriving or leaving Missoula this week. You might also book a cheaper flight into Spokane and drive over the passes if you don't mind driving over winter passes.

Hopefully the fog lifts so the cal poly team doesnt have to be bused in.

Hopefully the fog lifts so the cal poly team doesnt have to be bused in.I think they should just plan on flying to Helena, and reserve the busses now. It would be a big mistake to think they are going to be able to get on a plane in the morning and just fly right into Missoula. They need to allow time in their schedule for the bus trip.
