If Mont. St. doesn't win (and thus let EWU in) and Lafayette doesn't win yesterday neither has any chance of getting in
Lehigh, Youngstown St., South Carolina St. -- 2 of those would have been in.
Maybe the time has come to go to 24 teams in the playoffs?

24 team playoffs could be considered if more of these Division II schools move up to I-AA and there is no mass exodus of I-AA to I-A. This is probably a few seasons off before it would happen though if it ever does happen.

I'm sorry. YSU has been back and forth about joining the MAC and with the dangerously low attendances at Akron and Kent; some sell outs and competition won't hurt.
