Well, good luck to Spags

The Giants haven't had great luck replacing D-Coordinators that leave to be head coaches. The last one was John Fox (went to Carolina), and he was replaced by Johnnie Lynn and Tim Lewis xsmhx

Luckily, we found Spags before last year. Rumor is they'll promote from within, so hopefully the D keeps its same basic style intact

He was a position coach with the Eagles D under Johnson before the Giants hired him as coordinator prior to last season

You are thinking of John Spagnola. Former Eagles and Yale TE and Bethlehem PA native.
