If this has already been posted, oops. :o

Anyway, the Mountain West and Missouri Valley Conferences will start a 4-year series starting next basketball season with Evansville being the only team not participating next season.

There are some interesting matchups this should be a fun series.

I agree. The MWC, however, is more balanced in basketball than it is in football, so the MVC better come prepared.

Uh, isn't SIU in the MVC? Why would they play another MVC team in the MWC vs. MVC challenge?

Of course UNI gets stuck with Wyoming. It would be more fun to embarrass BYU after them talking down to us in football. They hadn't even heard of us...

If it was in Provo, you'd lose. They've lost one there in the last 60, and that was to Wake Forest this year. I hear Wake is doing kind of good this year.

Trust me, it would be a good game. UNI is on fire right now. Clobbering Drake in Des Moines, beating Creighton in Omaha and SIU in Carbondale, is no easy task. Not only has UNI done that, we shot 80% against Missouri State, our defense is great, and we are shooting the three amazingly well.

How long it will last, I have no idea. But the stars have aligned for UNI for the past 6 games.

Is it just me or did the MVC kind of get the short end of the stick with these match ups. It seems odd that UNLV, Utah, BYU, and New Mexico all got home games.

If I'm correct, than all four of them should be on the road next year. But I can see your point, it will probably affect the results next year.

I will point out, that New Mexico lost to Creighton in Omaha this year, so it only makes sense Creighton makes the trip next year. Similar to UNI and Wyoming.
