Wilder is a very smart guy and a great recruiter. Good choice for a startup program.

The challenge you guys will face is his Jekyll/Hyde personality, once things start to count. He subscribes to the age-old "tear 'em down and then build 'em up" philosophy of coaching. Except he's not real good at the "build 'em up" part. Maybe -- hopefully, for your sake -- his good buddy Whitcomb can play good cop in the equation. Ron is a neat kid. I believe the players will come to like him a lot.
